The Origin Band

Origin's main band was formed in 2001 with the mission to be an agent of unity in the church and outreach to the city of Cape Town. While the band members have changed a little over the years, the intention has remained the same.

While we have not yet recorded the Cape Town band, our Edinburgh band recorded an album in 2009, un|broken, on the Isle of Mull at Mucmara studios. This is available to purchase from Origin SA, and you can listen to extracts of several of the tracks.

	Band Coordinator Garth Airey Garth worships at Meadowridge Baptist Church, works in Kenilworth and is married to Lisa and has a young daughter, Sienna. He plays keyboard in the band.
	Director Colin Peckham Colin studied music at Edinburgh University and theology with the University of South Africa. He is a freelance website developer and serves as Origin's Artistic Director for Edinburgh and Cape Town. He is married to Norma and has a young son, Andrew.

Inclusion in any Origin programme is at the discretion of the organisers.
