Job Description

The Box Office manager is responsible for ticket distribution in advance of events, and running the box office on-the-day.

Since most of our events are free and don't require tickets, the job requires intermittant commitment (usually only once a year for two months).


  • Must be committed Christian in good standing with their local church
  • Must consent to the Origin Basis of Faith and Code of Conduct
  • Must be well-organised individual, able to plan ahead
  • Must be able to work to a deadline
  • Must be a good communicator, willing to supply regular updates on progress and willing to put in the effort to complete the task.
  • Must be able to take initiative and work without close supervision
  • Must be computer-literate, with internet access
  • Good English skills are essential. Spoken ability in Afrikaans and/or isiXhosa would be an advantage
