Symphonic Praise

Cape Town, Mon 07 September, 2015

Origin South Africa is delighted to present an evening of some of the greatest Christian hymns and songs ever written. The programme will consist of songs spanning centuries of music, right up to today, and will invite audience participation.

On Heritage Day, 24 September, what better way to celebrate a Christian heritage than in the "People's Cathedral" - the beautiful St George's Cathedral, seat of the Archbishop of Cape Town?

Joining the choir will be our own symphony orchestra and Rouchelle Liedemann, popular local Gospel artist, inspirational singer, radio and television presenter.

The Cape Town Gospel Choir works to promote unity in the church and our often sadly-divided society. We are a multi-racial, non-denominational Christian choir, seeking to exemplify our faith and the Good News in our home city of Cape Town.

Songs will include Amazing Grace, Crown Him with Many Crowns, Holy holy holy, Great is Thy Faithfulness, In Christ Alone, and many more.
The choir's patron Prof Jonathan Jansen will open the evening, which will be led by the choir's artistic director Colin Peckham.

Symphonic Praise is on at St George's Cathedral, Wale Street, Cape Town on Thursday 24 September at 7pm. Tickets (R125 each) are available from the choir by phoning 021 975 1329 or emailing info@ctgc.org.za

Liedere sluit in Amazing Grace, Crown Him with Many Crowns, Holy holy holy, Great is Thy Faithfulness, In Christ Alone en meer.
